DONATIONS

TSAR is a registered non-profit corporation, a 501-C3.
We receive no funding from any Federal,
State, County or Municipal entity. We function solely on donations
from private individuals and companies.
Individuals on the team are expected
to purchase their own personal gear. The funds that we receive
are used to maintain our two rescue/command center vehicles,
repair and replace team equipment (such as litters, ropes, climbing
hardware, medical, and radios), cover insurance costs, pay for
medical training, and cover any other expenses incurred in operating
our organization.

Please send
donations to:
Taos Search and Rescue
PO BOX 1912
Taos, NM 87571

We want to thank everyone in
our community who generously included TSAR in their annual giving
during our anuual fund drive in September. Without this very
critical annual drive, our team could not continue to offer search
and rescue services to our community. Please visit all the pages
of our site to see what services your valuable contributions
support.

We would like to extend a special
thanks to the following businesses for their generous, ongoing
support of Taos Search and Rescue through their invaluable gifts
of services:
Quality Inn of Taos provides us with a meeting room for
our monthly general meeting and classroom trainings, as well
as any needed equipment (e.g. VCR, TV and overhead projector)
to better facilitate our trainings at no charge.
Taos Net provides us e-mail, website hosting, and technical
support of these services as a yearly donation.
H&R Block gives us the use of their offices to hold our
monthly board meetings.
Rio Grande
Ace Hardware gave
a generous donation for the TSAR K-9 Unit to build an agility
course for training their search K-9's. Stay tuned...pictures
of the completed agility course will be coming to the site in
the Springtime!

It is through the help and
support of community leaders such as those businesses listed
above that enables Taos Search & Rescue to continue to serve
the people of New Mexico.
